As per Guru Nanak
Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the word of Akaal Purakh himself and we need to have faith in it. Some sing Gurbani, some listen and many devotees do daily Nitnem. All these are respectable but we must understand what Guru says in the following lines
Guru Nanak mentions in Japji Sahib
Which means even though he is writing it, it is coming straight from Akaal purakh, and he is writing it as he is getting it from Akaal Purakh. If we truly believe it is “ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬੀਚਾਰ” and “ਪੋਥੀ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਕਾ ਥਾਨੁ ॥” the message of akaal purakh will start to become clear than ever before. The faith and trust in Guru and Gurbani can really change the perspective of life for us. It is important for us to understand the importance of Gurbani.
The purpose of this website is to encourage everyone discuss, understand basic principles of Gurbani, help understand the difference between Gurmat and Manmat. Without understanding and discussing Gurbani we cannot truly introspect our behaviors and fix them as per Gurbani to become a true sikh.
